Wow! What a list of different, and unique forms of decorations. I must say, this is very informative. I have limited knowledge of floor, and wall decorations, I only knew of marble tiles use for the decorations of kitchen floors, bathroom floors, and other living spaces. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I'm in the middle of house hunting and I can picture myself ripping out so many tiles and countertops and replace them with marble. This grey stone is so gorgeous and I love your list of places to use it. The idea of a marble threshold entryway makes me swoon, such a regal look!

This has always been my favorite, the natural grey/white marble. It's got such a rich look and feel. I literally love to run my hands over marble surfaces (they're so delicious to touch). So cool and elegant. But you gave me some good ideas about using contrasting marble to set off the color. For example, using a mosaic design to set off the marble is something I've never thought about before. I can see how that would add drama and interest to a room. And you also mentioned using a contrasting color like black marble or white marble corner pieces in a room with a strikingly different color motif. Very interesting.

I love this color. I recently did a Mosaic in my Kitchen and this worked well for parts of it.
